Today, we’re discussing how the INFJ personality type is the needle in the haystack and the square peg of the MBTI. There’s always gotta be the odd one out and, in this crazy existence, INFJ just happens to be it. Often the scapegoats, doormats, and punching bags of others, a confident and healthy INFJ turns those tables quickly. There’s so many things that make the INFJ a needle in the haystack, most good, some bad.
Being an INFJ isn’t easy. I should know. For those who don’t know, I scored ENFJ prior but for the last decade or so I’ve consistently scored INFJ. In my personal experience, more trials than tribulations moved me from full-on E to an I-cusper on the introversion/extroversion scale. I’m here (see chart in video). Life can shut people down, it can break them down to irreparable pieces. An INFJ who is still in the darkness and stuck in their miseries can turn full-on Satan. In today’s episode, let’s talk the wise, ascended, mature, emotionally-balanced and healthy INFJ. Now, this type is a superstar! A rare gem. A needle in a haystack.
An INFJ who knows who they are no longer have to question their life’s purpose which eliminates a bundle of nervous gut energy. This, in turn, leads to a tighter bod. The healthy INFJ knows how to catch an eye and keep it. They know they have to play the physical game of life to keep up with it all. They play the game well. This healthy INFJ is neither cocky or narcissistic but rather confident. Depending on how they exude that confidence, they could get mistyped as egotistical when this is not the case at all. If you got it, flaunt it. Never hide yourself or dim your shine for anybody else.
This healthy INFJ has been around the block quite a few times, and quite a few different blocks. They are eclectic with a plethora of interests. Their wide scope on the world and thirst for any kind of knowledge has made them wise. They look out for others. They are considerate. They hold the door open for others and pick up litter in the state park or along beaches. They smile at children as they walk by and say hello to pets on leashes as if they were human. They stop their friends on the sidewalk just to listen to a bird sing from a branch. They smell the roses, stubborn pollen stuck on nose tips or not. They wear their quirks and imperfections with pride. They don’t follow the crowd or ‘follow’ at all. Instead, they’re willing to blaze a new trail just for the sake of wanderlust. They see the right in the wrong, the wrong in the right, the good in the bad, and the things in between. They look over their shoulders as not to forget where they’ve been because it’s the stumbles they’ve overcome that shaped who they become.
They’re ancient in a way, meaning they’re so in touch and in tune with nature, with the Earth, with their inner and greater being. This type is seen as hippy, spiritual, guru, the wise ones. Mystics. So hard to find. Your average Joe would be lucky to run into even one. I’m not saying INFJ is perfect nor have I ever. They have flaws like all else. It’s just that their flaws are carefully hidden and the lesson in the scars utilized to the full extent. For those who haven’t yet lived this way or developed internally, they will. INFJ has their head on straight even if all the features aren’t aligned just yet. Take it from me. My sister is an INFJ just like me. Her daughter, my niece Zoey, who’ll be four on September 11 will most likely be INFJ. If not INFJ, ENFJ. It runs strong in bloodlines. This is mainly because of example. If a parent is INFJ, they’re strong influences on their children and their kids detect the depth of the surreal kind of love and bond.
The INFJ doesn’t love all children. Frankly, we find many who aren’t our own annoying after a few hours or when they start turning from good girl to baaaaad girl. But we hold a special affinity from our blood. A special type of Mama and Papa Bear, the type their kids go “I’m glad my mom was weirdo growing up, she’s a cool chick and her hearts always in the right place”.
K, my favorite personality type, your lady Sadie sends you kisses. Sparkle bright, until next time.
