We’ve narrated and produced numerous titles ranging in length from short (under 1 hour) to long (up to 9 hours!) as well as genre. No genre is excluded from our list and we even welcome erotica authors to the Knight family! Although Sadie narrates most genres, she specializes in romance and erotica, personal development and highly-technical projects! Feel free to visit our showcase for other samples but, keep in mind, this isn’t everything we’ve done. Pricing is the floor rate and negotiable. No royalty shares at this time. Rush requests (prior to agreed upon per Service Agreement) are a $50 minimum.

To calculate how long your book may be, use this formula: book word count divided by 9,300 (which is the average spoken words per hour). So, a 50,000 word novel at 9,300 words spoken per hour would be approx 5.38 hours of audio. To put that into perspective, .38 of an hour is roughly 20 minutes. This equals an estimated audiobook length of 5 hours and 20 minutes.

Put this into your calculator- 50000/9300= 5.38

To calculate the estimated cost of an audiobook, use the formula above to find the estimated audio length. Then, multiply length by the PFH (per finished hour) rate. So, an audiobook at roughly 5.38 hours at a rate of $125 PFH would total $672.50. Since Knight Narrations always rounds up to the nearest dollar, the total cost of the project would be $673.

eBooks, Forms and Proofreading:

eBooks– All you need to do is send us your manuscript on a Word doc or a PDF and we’ll do the rest. We’ll transform your book into a digital book to reach a wider audience. The final eBook will be sent to you via a .kdp file (suitable for Amazon), .doc or .docx (a Word file for Barnes and Nobles, Smashwords, and others!) or a .pdf (PDF; required on multiple publishing platforms)- your call! We can even do all the fancy stuff like drop caps, page breaks, special headers, and more!

Forms– Let us create inquisitive forms for your small business or corporation. Even if you’re an individual and just need forms, we got you covered! We can create simple to complex forms with multiple fields (dropdown, text, numerical, etc.), even fillable ones! Word or PDF, again your pick.

Proofreading– Since we convert eBooks and narrate audiobooks, we’ve noticed we sometimes run into typos and errors. As a result, we’ve added proofreading services to our roster of services. At this time, we are only accepting edited manuscripts less than 20,000 words. We do not edit your manuscripts but, rather, highlight and note the error for you. This is a recommended step for all writers before querying and right before the first publication run!
